Excellent balance of industrial grade durability and home decor.
"Standard" rod does not support blackout curtains. Ordered it because it looked strong. I was expecting a mostly painted pipe. Very happy with the ending. Very strong and I was able to just remove the old flimsy aluminum bar and install it with a couple of new holes (there are four screws on the ends meaning they will hold the weight). Exceeded my expectations. Except for the grandson hanging from the curtains, they don't go down.
