I have purchased several rugs for my workshop and have found that the desires of various suppliers' designs are in the detail. This rug is my favorite. Why? It all boils down to something as simple as pairing a mat with a store-bought vacuum nozzle. The surface texture of most mats I have isn't deep enough for the nozzle to rest on the top surface and air (with trapped dirt) to flow through the low surface areas. This causes the nozzle to stick to the surface and requires a lot of physical effort to move the nozzle across the surface to clean. However, this mat has ridges deep enough to allow good airflow to the nozzle when resting on the tops of the ridges. The suction nozzle moves easily over the surface and effectively collects almost all debris. In addition, the product does not contain any logos or other advertising imprints.
