Works great! The video quality on my Blu-ray actually looks better than on my original disc. The change was very easy for me. I've already watched a video on the internet that explains how to disable the Blu-ray drive. So 15 minutes after the package was handed to me, I was able to use my PS3 again. Note that I've already taken it apart four times, so I can do it pretty quickly. I was only supposed to replace the laser but my daughter threw the toy and got stuck in the driveway. Unfortunately, for all my repair skills, I was unable to get the ejector working again. I've waited over a month for my review to be corrected due to bad luck with Blu-ray players. We have a huge collection of movies and several players that just won't play some discs. However, the rims are in perfect condition. This CD plays them all :D. I'm very glad I bought this, it was cheaper than a decent Blu-Ray player and works better than just a Blu-Ray player.
