If you need a display with 4 HDMI inputs, then this is for you. Not me. I just wanted a display for a 2012 Mac mini. That's fine, but to get 2560 x 1440 resolution, you'll need a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort (full-size) cable. (I ordered a CableMatters cable with a display.) If you switch from HDMI to HDMI, you only get 1920 x 1080 from the Mini. The display isn't borderless. There's a black "border" about 1/4" across the sides and top, but not the bottom. The bottom edge of the display area goes straight to the (almost) bottom gray band with the ASUS logo. It would look better .with 1/4" on all four sides. I'm not sure if you actually get 2560x1440. If you look "beyond" the bezels, you'll see more pixels on the sides and top. I haven't tested this yet (e.g. create a test image with a width of 2560 pixels and see what happens.) The default settings don't improve the situation. There were a lot of "ghost" letters on the display and such. I was almost done sending the monitor back, but it turned out that the VividPixel setting is there, but not active. The speakers are there but they're only good for videos on YouTube etc. I'm surprised Bang & Olufsen allows their name on the front. The display is exactly the same size as my 2010 27" iMac but the display quality isn't as good. The monitor has a slight anti-glare coating which is nice o have but it seems to smudge the image a bit/ There's a headphone jack, no USB ports, and no height adjustment (the bottom of the display is just under 3" from the desk and the round leg is just under 9" in diameter). If you're looking at the display when it Black in a darkened room, like when the Mini boots up, the backlight isn't very even (there's a bunch of light in the upper-left corner), but once you're on the desktop, everything seems to look normal Update: All pixels are lit actually displayed. It's just a weird visual effect if you bring your head to the display and look around the edges. It looks like part of the display is under the black border. Ve rforget to mention that it has a power supply. Haven't seen one on a monitor for a long time.
