I enjoy painting rocks for my garden a lot. I've gotten into painting lately, and it's fun to have a new canvas like a rock to play around with. At first, I balked at not just using rocks I found around, but I realized that it's pretty hard to find the right kind of rocks to paint on just by chance. These rocks are great for painting scenes on. They are all fairly flat and oval, quite uniform. They aren't shaped into interesting shapes to make into creative animals or things like that, but if you want a flat surface to paint onto, you will like these. I did find they had quite a few rounded chips in them. This can take away a bit from how finished projects look. But otherwise, I'm quite happy with these.
