Review on πŸ‘“ Sightline Brown Multifocal Progressive Power Reading Glasses 6000 with 1.50x Magnification by Elizabeth Lewis

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Big Disappointment

This is not what you would expect from your typical wear-anywhere multifocal varifocals. drive and so on. I didn't realize that with these glasses +3 the top edge (for long-sightedness) is 1.5! I know it takes a while for my eyes and brain to adjust to the new varifocals and I was hoping it would get better. Since it wasn't, I read some more and found what I said earlier. Of course you can't see the horizon with +1.5 lenses. So they're only for reading, computing, and close-up vision. I should have read more specs before buying, so that's my fault. In the Q&A section, I found an explanation from the company that "Top 0" (for long-sightedness) is not possible and a completely different production is needed. This statement seems strange to me as I have tried different progressive lenses and they are all good for long distances. And I'm not talking about expensive prescription glasses, I'm talking about Revain glasses that are half the price of these. The main advantage of varifocals (in terms of comfort and durability) should be that you can put them on in the morning and take them off at night!
