I have a Honeywell Enviracaire oven mounted humidifier in my home. I leave it on at 40% humidity year-round (i.e. in winter mode) as I live in a semi-arid environment and the extra humidity seems to greatly reduce static. it looks disgusting due to the mineral deposits it picks up when hard water drips on it. To remove the humidifier you will need to turn off the ovens/air conditioners (so you don't splash water on your face if it activates during a shift), unclip the drip line at the top of the frame, and then remove the humidifier pad from the frame/manifold tray. Installation involves inserting a spacer (see red dot above) into the frame/junction box and then reattaching the dripline. not careful.
