I've tried a few lip glosses. Each of them had a tingling sensation on my lips, but that particular shine triggers a more intense burn. There are two separate glosses in the set. Gold for the day, silver for the night. When I applied golden gloss for the first time, I felt a strong burning sensation on my lips. It's like rubbing your lips with a very hot pepper. Glitter is a super shiny, shiny look that I like. There's only a strong sting for the first few minutes and although the sting lasts for a while I've found that my lips just get used to it and getting used to the feeling, after a while it's not so bad. A silver sheen meant for the night still produces a pungent sensation, but much less intense. In terms of cosmetic effect, both glosses work well. My lips look a little plumper, very shiny and youthful. As far as slight discomfort goes, I'd say the desired effects are worth it to me. In my opinion, a little pain means the product is working.
