Review on 🦈 Terracotta Shark UpLight Upright Vacuum Cleaner by Angela Johnson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Best for vacuuming and floor maintenance

Pros: Works great on most of my carpets and tile floors. I hope it works just as well on my hardwood floor that I'm about to install. The suction power is amazing! It sucked up all the dust particles on the seemingly clean floor and I didn't even know such fine dust was hiding in my flat clean white carpet! I love that it can stand on its own, another plus for the elderly and also if you need to move carpets or furniture while cleaning. Cons: I can't use it on thick pile carpets, only on my thinner carpets. I use thick rug fastening tools and put them in the washing machine. It's very hard. So if you have weak wrists or suffer from arthritis, look for a vacuum that's more upright or a lot lighter than this (it just doesn't have as much suction power when it's a stick vacuum). I wish the cord was easier to wind up like an automatic button that winds it up, just wish it was because I bought this vacuum for my dad who doesn't get up and down as easily over the years as he ages. It's not as loud as people have said, at least not for me, I use vacuums for shopping so this thing is as loud as any normal household vacuum if that's what I think. The dust bin is small but easy to detach and empty. Overall I got this for $179 after tax so I'm very happy with my purchase and happy to clean it up as I only used it for a few minutes to test it out and make sure it works. If you can't decide between a stick vacuum or an upright vacuum, I think Apex's shark hair removers are a great choice. If I ever get rugs or crazy thick pile rugs again, I'm going to buy a shark vertical panel. I wish you all the best of luck.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Good but not great
