Mounts on a granite countertop, protrudes around a heavy-duty 1/4-inch socket. You'll need something flat like a wrench or flathead screwdriver to open it (this can be annoying). Unlike those fancy pop-ups, it's built to last. Difficult to add an extra plug unless it's an extension cord.
