These devices are of excellent quality. You can get cheaper units if you go this route. They match the new floor and the design features of the room.

Fast delivery and good packaging. I have used these in my carpeted living room and they are amazing. Looks a lot better than the flimsy cover originally used. It's easy to open the valve and much safer.

Quality construction, one caveat: if you want it to be level with the floor you'll need to trace the edges and use a chisel about 1/8 inch deep to get it closer Bringing requires some skill with a very sharp chisel depending on the type of soil you have.

Beautiful set. Heavy brass plate with a deep box and watertight gaskets but the included screws suck so much I threw them away and bought a replacement from Lowes. Why on earth do you need such a great product and the cheapest fasteners?

Mounts on a granite countertop, protrudes around a heavy-duty 1/4-inch socket. You'll need something flat like a wrench or flathead screwdriver to open it (this can be annoying). Unlike those fancy pop-ups, it's built to last. Difficult to add an extra plug unless it's an extension cord.

The bezel itself is very nice thick metal with great socket covers. However, the installation depends on your specific gender. You need something the right height to screw in the box. Your sub-floor may be slightly lower than the actual floor you are walking on. So if you screw the socket into the sub-floor it will be too low and there will be a gap between the faceplate and the walls of the socket. Just installed two of these. High quality kits. We were concerned about some complaints of the lids being difficult to close once opened and the lids not fitting flush. But I had no problems. What I suspect in these cases is that the recesses that the installer has to cut in the floor weren't deep enough. Comes with a template indicating the required depth. I really like these floor boxes, I bought 2 of them to install in our new house because in the open plan apartment we needed sockets in the middle of the room under the sofa to connect the lights. They look great, are very sturdy and once you read the instructions they are really solid. Floor.
