There is not enough space below even for a dwarf hamster to dig holes as its natural instincts require. The last thing I have with this cell is that it can't easily connect to other cells. , turn it into a sanctuary for your poor little hamster. I had to caulk part of the hole in the bathroom (because it was too big for regular pipes) to connect the other cages to this one. as much as possible.
