Review on 🔐 Power Tailgate Lock for Chevy/GMC (New Body) - Pop & Lock PL8120Q by Dwayne Meurer

I really like the lock function, but I have doubts about the overall quality of the device. I installed one four (4) years ago and the magnet stopped working and the tailgate stayed in the latched position. . I couldn't move it and had to manually "break into" the back of my truck. I have a trunk lid on a Flip-Bac II that requires the tailgate to be lowered to open the lid. I received a new block and found that the holes in the PL8120Q needed to be widened to allow the tailgate studs to go through. I didn't have to open the holes on the first block.
