Just received this little gem and tried it out right away. Worked fantastic and didn't need the LED ring (which worked great too). This is ideal for checking plant maturity before harvest. I've tried both my old S5 with a 12MB camera and my current LG with a 6MB camera. Both provided these necessary details. Those who have had trouble focusing should be aware of the very short focal length of this lens. Whoever complained, it wasn't a 200X lens; You can imagine how short that focal length will be. My problem is that I hold on long enough for the camera/phone to focus. Even if my hands are shaking, take enough shots and you should see what you need. Great little device and I will be buying a few more as a backup.
