A hobbyist printer with some design flaws - poor company ethics

First let me tell you what I like about this printer. - It can print large volumes which was the main reason for my purchase. - Neat detail layout - Decent case frame - Printing is decent after some searching and tweaking. Overall I think it's good enough for hobbyists, but this can NEVER be considered an industrial printer. OK, so here are the problems. First off, this printer has auto-leveling, NOT auto-leveling. There is false marketing in this function. It has a distance sensor that detects the distance to the print platform in 12 different places, and you have to adjust the platform by turning the screws (by hand, of course). There are a couple of design issues: The seat belt chain at the top is too heavy to be held at the two ends, so it's constantly sagging and banging against the belts. You have to do something to keep it. - The filament guide tube connects the print head (extruder), and the extrusion gear also sags and touches the belts, which makes an unpleasant sound when printing. - The filament out sensor and its mechanism are a joke. I mean it tells you when a thread is missing. However, it is difficult to replace a new line of filament without reprinting. What happened was he told you the thread was out of order. However, to replace it, you need to somehow cut off part of the remaining thread to insert a new one. This is only possible by removing the guide tube, cutting the thread shorter than the tube itself, and inserting the tube. back, then start a new thread. I tried inserting the filament past the sensor and continuing to push the filament up during the print, hoping the new filament would follow the rest. Unfortunately the new filament got stuck somewhere in the extrusion mechanism and never came up. There are several assembly issues: Some parts were not properly pre-assembled. For example, the screws for the bed belt chain - The bed leveling sensor is mounted too low, which caused all sorts of problems (I'll mention them in operational problems) - There are other little things I don't notice. remember now Several months have passed. There are several performance issues: The bed level sensor was not preinstalled correctly. This caused the Z offset to be a bit large, so the first layer never touched the bed when I printed it directly from the slicer software. When I print it from an SD card I have to manually adjust the Z offset each time. Sometimes when the Z offset is adjusted to the correct thickness before printing, the printer somehow rotates to the bed and then pulls it along the bed. to its original position and damage the black sheet glued on the aluminum plate. This has happened to me several times - The black foil on the aluminum plate is peeling off after a few uses - The print is out of tolerance as stated in the description. When printing, the round tube became the tube of the ecliptic. The tolerance can be up to 1 mm. There are other issues that lead to poor prints such as: B. Buoyancy, etc. This happens with almost every 3D printer, so I won't mention it here. Don't worry when you buy this printer. Submit a free thread code. Tronxy doesn't send you a thread. They keep making excuses, not trying to reply to your email, and never posting the thread as promised.
