This item works exactly as it should. Sweety Sun is a great seller with great communication. I used this with an HDMI adapter. HDMI on the laptop and DVI on the PC. This is necessary for a cramped desk, and it is very convenient to use the keyboard and mouse on different computers. The button allows quick changes. This doesn't put the monitor to sleep, so I just turn it off when not in use.
