I have these tubes to try out for my razor blades instead of food grade PVC. They are much easier to remove from soap than PVC pipes. I just poured the first few batches straight into the mold. There was a slight tug on removal, but as long as your soap has set you should be fine. I've found that spraying on a coat of olive oil before pouring makes it a lot easier to peel off. At this point there is no sign of leakage and I can pour soap in and remove it fairly quickly. I'm worried about the long term. Durability of closure seals. I would be more comfortable if the shape was a bit more rigid as it's still somewhat flexible, but. When it comes down to it, some velcro can help hold the shape. I plan to buy 6 more in the near future.
