I saw this style of broom and was intrigued, so I decided to bring the SN SKENNOVA 27 inch Tall Heavy Duty Authentic Coconut Leaf Outdoor Broom with me Try multiple surfaces. 27 inches seemed bigger than they really are. I'm very sorry I didn't take a tape measure and see how high it would be. I'm 5ft 10" and it's really too short for comfortable use. I use it but I have to use it for small areas at a time or it will kill my back. A longer one would be much better for me. When I first saw it, I had my doubts that it would really sweep hard. Surprisingly it is. I use it to sweep leaves off the sidewalk outside. I see no point in using it to sweep rooms as I have other products that work better for that. I found it worked better for outdoor use than a traditional broom for getting around the edges of things like leaves along a curb or under a hose holder. For large open areas, I spin lengthways and can cover a large area with each swing. I use it vertically to get into small, tight spaces. After it had rained, I could sweep wet leaves off the concrete more easily than with my broom. The bristles (coconut leaves) still hold up well and don't fall out. The plastic end cap looks rather cheap and robs the product of traditional handcrafted applications. At $21.95 this product feels a bit overpriced for what you get and how versatile (not great) it has proven to be to me. It's kinda cool though.
