Use “mini bits” with this feeder.
Our dog took some time to catch on to this, but she really seems to enjoy it now. Recommend using Kibbles and Bits "mini bits.” Larger bits will not drop through the feeder openings. You can put about 3 handfuls of bits in the center feeder compartment. This item came with a replacement flip up lid in case one gets broken. So far our dog has not tried to chew on the toy. She can also see through the clear cover when it’s empty and will stop. We’ve also enjoyed watching her and it has slowed down her feeding. We would recommend this for small to medium size dogs.
