Cute board but Berkel price
Nice little "presentation board" if you want something to match your Volano cutter. But with that fancy cut out Berkel logo on the handle, Berkel is also overpriced. Although the wood is said to be "fine" and at first glance resembles a walnut, it is actually an oiled beech made from three interlocking parts. After all, it looks classy and complements the great Berkel food slicers well, but at a higher price than many other decorative boards of this size.
