I never realized how dim and yellow my old fluorescent bulbs were until I replaced them. You should change them all at once, otherwise it will be VERY noticeable. They were compatible and I swapped out 10 bulbs in 10 minutes, I was happy with the plastic case too, you don't see the individual LEDs and the light spreads well although you'll probably have the matte cover anyway. I may need to replace some of the ballasts but probably not all in the long run but they still saved me time compared to the mains voltage version which requires the ballast to be removed.
