These scales, if there are minus 5 stars, this scale determines that. Accuveit at least that the scales did not work even with native new batteries. I got this scale from a cousin who works as a butcher and we tested this scale on her scale including the box. As we all know, when brown packaging protects meat and seafood (the scale doesn't match any terminology you might want to use), but that's ZERO OUT mode. This ounce scale is a joke, and in pounds it's a nightmare, and with all the promotional tact - shit shit! Its misleading values far exceed actual weight and are in no way accurate. The material is a good product in terms of durability and precision -5. Scales need to be precise and accurate to do their job. This scale example: For 8 ounces, this scale reads 8.5 ounces. This is disappointing and I have to check the scale a third time. It was on December 6th. returned and I will NEVER look at their products. They need to change their advertising mode and actually produce scales that do the job, not to be misleading or as inaccurate as they are. Be particularly ashamed of Revain's misleading regular customers. FYI, I see my review on Accuweight, their beautiful glass scale reflecting a 4.7 rating. Everything doesn't work and sorry they are far from endorsing their products as they advertise too! DO NOT BUY this scale, keep going. FYI, the plate at this scale is too small in the video, the angle used is also misleading!
