Let's be honest, the only reason I got this scale was for the bowl!

Trust the loud alarms! When I first turned it on, it scared me to death! My husband thought it was a fire alarm while he was still sleeping in the bedroom! We had to open the scale and cut the black and red wire attached to the speaker. The noise is gone and the scale still works great. Sounds aside, I really am a cheap Libra. I don't understand why people give 5 stars. Serious. It's so cheaply built. Cheap buttons! The feeling that everything is falling apart. Obviously, humans have never had…

I put a star because you can't put zero!

That thing is cheap crap. The thing turns itself on when you take it out of the cupboard and off when you put it on the counter. Then turn it on, reset it and it weighs ONCE before turning off. I make a lot of cakes for different things, and since I make deep pans, I always measure almost ⅔ down and ⅓ up. When I tried this by putting different items in the bowl, it weighed the first item each time, and when I took it out of the bowl before I could put the second item in the bowl, it turned…

Accurate for lighter weight

I bought this scale based on positive reviews and it was as accurate as the scale itself. I needed something that could measure lighter weight for cooking but was still accurate. For example, I use this scale to measure the coffee beans that need to be ground for a french press coffee pot and it needs to be very accurate so I use the "grams" scale because an ounce is 28.3495 grams - very accurate measure if you are serious about good coffee. I had other scales that weren't accurate enough to be

THIS SCALE IS FAR FROM ACCURACY and.

These scales, if there are minus 5 stars, this scale determines that. Accuveit at least that the scales did not work even with native new batteries. I got this scale from a cousin who works as a butcher and we tested this scale on her scale including the box. As we all know, when brown packaging protects meat and seafood (the scale doesn't match any terminology you might want to use), but that's ZERO OUT mode. This ounce scale is a joke, and in pounds it's a nightmare, and with all the…

Best seller for a reason - I love this scale

The more I use this scale, the more I like it. This is an attractive bowl scale that is great for both slimming and baking. My regular scale was flatbed and adding a nicely sculpted steel pan makes EVERYTHING different. And the controls are easy to use - buttons. Not membranes. Yes, it's a large scale. I measure pasta for dinner so I don't overeat the starch. 2 ounces is a good single serving and I like medium bowls. I put mussels on the scale and can drop them straight into boiling water. When
