A few months ago I adopted two cats. They are used to having someone around during the day and are very happy to see me when I come home from work. One wants me to pick it up and carry it on my shoulder for a while. They will both lie on my lap for hours if I sit still. My problem is when I need to work on my jewelry. My only cat in particular will keep trying to jump on my lap while I'm at my desk. It slips off when I'm not holding it with one hand or when I have to move it to get something. Not a very good situation. Someone at work suggested a pet carrier that I hadn't thought of. If he used it, that would be great! I chose this one because the shoulder strap is adjustable and I have a short torso. I made it as short as possible, put it on and picked it up. It took him a few minutes to understand what I was doing. First, I supported him with my hand on the outside so he wouldn't feel like he was falling. Sit at the table and voila, my problem is solved! I can sit and do my job with my hands free and he sits comfortably in a sling! The material is soft and well-made, with wide straps that can be worn over the shoulder. It should hold up well in washing, but I haven't had to do it yet. Thanks for solving my problem!
