Does the job but not top quality
Our other wooden pepper mill broke and to be honest I got it because it was stainless steel to match the stainless steel salt mill. In truth it is not of high quality. It's stainless steel but the base is plastic and the base with lid is great but difficult to remove because it's plastic. For $10 it fills the need and will be fine. Be aware it's pretty cheap.
