Colored pencils are better than watercolors. Great box and well sorted. I think it's a good color combination. They are easy to use. They blend well and are good for beginners. I love everything about them; but if you add water they are not as good as watercolors. (This can be frustrating for a beginner.) I mostly used them as colored pencils. I love that they come in a nice tin that is easy to travel with. I mostly took them with me as I always have to collect art supplies when I go somewhere. This is part of my travel gear. I love that I have the opportunity to use them as watercolors; but i wasn't so happy with them for this usage. It might be something I develop later.
