In winter I go for walks and take photos. I wanted something bigger than crew socks. I'm a 5'6" woman and they come down to my knees. They get bigger if you stretch them more, but I don't like them protruding past the knee or folding over the top, so I'll go keep it calm. I've put them on. I wear them several times a week and I love them. Not too tight but fits snugly and won't fall off even after walking for miles on rough terrain. The bottom is padded but not too heavy. Durable and well, I definitely recommend trying them out.
