Review on Enhance Your Culinary Experience with the Goodcook 4.5-Inch Serrated Utility Kitchen Knife in Silver/Black by Matthew Nielsen

The knife cut through the phone case, the only problem is the blade is too thin

When I first received this knife I wasn't a fan of it. The Good Cook Knife blade is a little thin unlike the JA Heckles I was looking to replace. However, I have found that this knife is very good at cutting thin slices of vegetables. It slices through small cherry tomatoes without crushing them. It slices peppers very quickly because the blade is incredibly sharp. The serrated edges provide a good grip when slicing lemons and limes. It also slices chicken breasts with ease. One of the family members was unable to remove the incredibly durable phone case. The body was made of some kind of durable rubber. So he decided to cut the body of the phone with just this knife. He's fine. The knife is not broken or blunt. He was just doing his job. The only thing I wouldn't recommend cutting with this knife is hard veggies like cucumbers, melons, etc. I have a feeling the blade might break, but since the knife can cut through a phone case, I'm sure it will I could be wrong **I should mention that we use this knife every day while cooking. Our family doesn't like chef's knives because they're bulky, heavy, and dull quickly. Serrated knives are an alternative to chef's knives and stay sharp longer. In terms of value for money, I can recommend this knife.
