I recently got rid of the cable and my TV no longer has caller ID. I came across this one while looking for a cheap cell phone. I really like this phone. This is exactly what I need so I can easily see who is calling. There's no light, although it's hard to read in the dark, and a downside is that the cord that plugs into the wall is connected to the phone. So if it ever breaks, it cannot be repaired. You have to buy another phone. Still, this is a budget phone that gets the job done for my needs.
