After I stopped using my cell phone, I got the Magic Jack service (highly recommended, by the way). This phone does exactly what I need. Call quality and volume are good, people can hear me well, nice and light phone that doesn't radiate off my body.

We needed an additional Caller ID desk phone in our downstairs study. This phone is perfect. As with many Vtech phones, the LCD is difficult to read, but this isn't a phone we need to access every day. Simple, easy to install, no frills and just what we wanted.

This is exactly what I need so I can easily see who is calling. phone works well, good price. Problems: 1) The cord gets tangled easily. This in turn causes 2) the very light base to fly off the table when you pick up the handset. I somehow cured it by duct tapeing another cord (from base to outlet) to the table, but it hurts and limits mobility. I also have the same phone, same brand, no problems. It is attached to the wall. Maybe it's a panacea.
