These mounts are virtually identical to what you get from Bose but cheaper. The only thing different about the Bose is a very small piece of plastic channel wire cover. The installation guide that comes with the kit is just a strip of paper with a mark on the center line. It would be better if it was pre-labeled for different models. This works well as long as you mark the hole locations correctly. I did this by attaching a strip of paper to the soundbar and then holding the clips over where they attach to the soundbar, tracing around them and marking the holes with a pencil. You can then remove the strip and position it on the wall using a spirit level. Once the paper is glued to the wall you can drill through it for the wall anchors (which we did). Another thing I would like to suggest is that if you are using fiber optic cable (TOSLINK) for your audio, you should get a right angle swivel adapter. The soundbar doesn't mount very far from the wall and makes a sharp bend without an adapter. As far as I can tell the OEM mount works exactly the same. Overall, we're very happy with how it's attached to the wall.
