Bright long lasting bike light but doesn't need to be charged

Loved this light. It's very bright for morning rides. It was easy to install, but when I needed to charge the flashlight (on the second day - about 2 hours of battery life), it didn't last more than 15 minutes on a charge. The manufacturer replaced but I replaced this product with another rechargeable flashlight and everything was the same. First charge took 2 hours, full charge 15 minutes. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but replaced both rechargeable lights with a Walmart battery powered headlight.
