We put this phone mount on my son's bike so he doesn't have to ride with one hand (his pockets are too small for a phone and he refuses to carry a backpack or bag because that wouldn't be cool). Easy to assemble without tools, the mount keeps your phone secure when you're out and about, green trail, or mountain biking. The phone stays in place and is unlikely to fall out of the holder under flawless conditions. Flexible rubber phone stand provides some shock protection. I suggest putting the phone itself in a sturdy case (a mount will do) to minimize the chance of the screen shattering if it's dropped on the garage floor or if the bike makes unplanned contact with trees, rocks, or a firmly laid single stock track. We've been using it for a few weeks so I don't know how long the rubber mount will retain its strength and flexibility. For the price, I wouldn't mind changing it every year or two if needed. The one thing this mount doesn't do is provide quick one-handed access to your phone on the go (except for screen display). If you need to be on the phone or take photos very often while driving, this mount is probably not for you.
