Review on 📷 Exploring Minute Worlds: Venus Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro APO Lens Review for Sony E by John Jones

I'm relatively new to macro photography. I recently bought this for my Sony a 6000. I also shoot with a Pentax K3 DSLR. I liked the 105mm macro lens with 1:1 magnification. The Pentax lens does an excellent job; BUT! Sony's mirrorless camera with a 65mm lens is much lighter, making it easier to focus evenly with your free hand. The 2x magnification and APO glass make the lens so convenient to use as the image quality of the lens is two to three times the price. The Laowa 65mm lens is fully manual, with an easy-to-use aperture ring and handy manual focus ring. It's also a great portrait lens that delivers soft bokeh. You will not be disappointed!
