It was well thought out during development and looks great under the hood. Throttle response is immediately better. There used to be a lag when you hit the gas and got results from the engine. Now you need less gas to go down the road or maintain speed. At cruising speed and idling it sounds like the factory engine, but when you step on the gas it doesn't sound like an outboard motor, it growls like an engine that can actually run. I've used other CAIs on various vehicles I've had and this is the best upgrade even if you don't plan on other upgrades.
