Review on 🌬️ Temtop M10 Air Quality Monitor: Real-time Indoor Air Pollution Detector for PM2.5, Formaldehyde, TVOC - AQI Measurement by Kaveen Reyes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Accurate compared to neighboring PurpleAir monitors

M10 (model without wifi or app) received 3 days ago so this is an early review; I will update if anything changes. The monitor looks very good and works as expected. West Coast indoor air quality needs to be monitored now as we choke on the world's most toxic outdoor air (September 2020). To test the monitor's accuracy for PM2.5 particles, I took it outside. and readings were comparable to nearby PurpleAir monitors (if you set the dashboard to PurpleAir to measure raw PM2.5). Those numbers were extremely unhealthy. We use three HEPA filters indoors—two portable air purifiers—and we also use a MERV-13 filter in the oven and run it with just a fan all day. With the windows closed and careful to slip in and out the door when we need to get out, PM2.5 is seeping in and the monitor showed us which rooms needed to be filtered at full speed with our two portable filters to get numbers . down to the single digits. I deduct half a star for a short battery life of up to 6 hours. It's okay, but not great if you're moving it from room to room without a charging cable. The battery could have lasted longer if the display had a dimming function, but it doesn't. I give the product 4.5 stars.

Pros
  • EASY OPERATION: The home button performs all operations including power supply, interface switching and display switching. The 2200mAh battery provides portable power when USB charging isn't available.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
