Review on Machine, DIY Metal, Compressed CNC with Fixed Focus, 32 bit Motherboard, 400×400mm by Amanda Castillo

This review is for an ORTUR Laser Master 2 Pro with a claimed 20 watt laser. This is a great laser engraver for the home/hobbyist! I regret not buying mine sooner. After much research I decided to buy it as my first laser engraver. I also bought the Lightburn software to start with as most of the reviews recommended it. I built the base out of plywood and attached a laser engraver to it to keep it level and allow me to install it in my garage instead of my workshop. The item was shipped quickly and arrived well packaged. I was able to assemble it in two hours. The online videos of his assembly were very helpful. The woodcuts I've made are amazing - excellent detail, clear outlines and quite fast. Overall it was much better than I expected. Depending on the wood being engraved, there can be a lot of smoke. Too much smoke will cause the built-in flame detector to turn off - which is probably a good thing. I run mine in the garage and have no issues with smoke as long as I remember to open the door and turn on the fan. The engraver runs cool and doesn't burn my hand when I change head height between jobs. Depending on the wood being engraved, there can be a lot of smoke.
