Good for liquids but not frozen smoothies
They are good for drinking liquids but not very good for frozen smoothies. It's much easier to consume frozen smoothies with a glass straw. Also, you can't see anything through those straws, so I always doubt that the dishes are completely washed. However, they don't break or shatter like glass straws, so that's the benefit of silicone. I'm happy enough with this purchase to keep the straws and only use them for liquids, travel, etc. But when I make frozen smoothies at home, I use clear glass straws to consume them.
