Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what I expected

Here is the real summary. I have read literally all the reviews and I have to say this: SURPRISES? This is better quality than I expected for the price from Revain. One reviewer who gave it a bad rating pointed out that the straps are too long and it sits too low. Unless he's shorter than me at 5ft 7in, I'm assuming he wore the straps backwards. It should be oriented so that the plastic adjuster is UNDER the pad. Unlike those who just put the bag somewhere and don't do it all the time, I plan on carrying the bag all the time while it's in use, so I bought a separate chest strap (see photo). It fits well and keeps it in place. For the price of the bag, I'm not too disappointed that it doesn't exist yet. You'll notice that I chose the one that has a built-in whistle. Nice gesture. WHAT IS THE SIZE? 10L is what my pictures show. They have sizes, but what does that mean in the real world? This 10 liter backpack is about the size of a hydration pack. Look at his photo compared to a size 2 pencil. Yes, a 10 liter bag looks funny strapped to a grown man's back. man because he's so small. I often travel light and choose small bags, be it a work bag or a diaper bag. I suspect that 20 liters would be closer to the size of a real backpack. Anything bigger is, as you can imagine, just bulkier. COMPARED TO REGULAR: There is an unbranded regular version. I generally don't take chances with generics when it comes to the importance of something having to be waterproof. The difference is that the Piscifun version has two features that the generic version doesn't have. First the elastic cord. Normally inelastic. It's just a cable. The Piscifun version also has an outside pocket for waterproof items. The Standard is just sealed and won't let you put anything inside (at least that's what I've gathered from the photos and reviews, since I didn't buy the Universal myself). Both features were important to me and the price difference was minimal, so I chose Piscifun, which turned out to be a good company. How do I know it's a good company? Choice of words that I believe to be trustworthy. You'll also notice that the company has been slow to respond to reviews here on Revain. I'm glad I bought from a small company to support them. Great product at a reasonable price. If I need another one I will definitely buy it from them. I have already recommended them to friends. HOW DID I SELECT THIS SPECIFIC BAG? The biggest advantage for me is that it has two straps. This is a backpack. More on that later. Other stuff sacks available are typically a strap for the 10 liter version (see photos). I also like that it has an elastic strap, an outside pocket and a separate handle. Piscifun themselves say they are releasing a version with a water bottle holder. I would wait but I need it for the trip. WHAT DO I USE IT FOR? Beach. I will carry the bag during class so I don't have to leave it unattended and risk things being stolen. I chose yellow so I can clearly identify it in case someone finds a way to steal it while I'm not looking. CONCLUSION: Don't spend hours on the internet like I did to find the perfect bag. Just understand. It's well priced, good quality, looks good, has all the features you could want (except for a water bottle holder which will be available in July 2019) and will most likely meet your waterproof bag needs. do.
