Review on Drive With Confidence: WOLFBOX Rear View Mirror Camera With Front And Rear 4K+2.5K, Full Touch Screen, Night Vision, And Parking Assist by Todd Stone

Should be a bit better for the price.

While the video quality on the g900 is good, there's a couple things I feel could make this better. My MAIN issue? I seemingly can't manually lock recorded video. I can select, play and delete it, but I can't seem to lock it so it doesn't get overwritten. Viewing a video tutorial of a lower model Wolfbox that can do it, this one SHOULD be able to but I haven't found a way and the manual doesn't help. The second is the rear camera. While it is recommended to mount outside the car, this comes with a major potential issue: wet visibility. Water just clings to this as soon as I hit a wet highway and being dark outside just leaves me with bright, blurry splotches. Being this becomes your new rearview, and recommended external mounting, it should really either have a hydrophobic coating over the lens or a hydrophobic lens cover. Trying to see behind you can be dangerous in wet weather. With no wifi (or Bluetooth) as I've seen in other brand models, you'll have to remove the SD card to save anything externally (which right now seems like the only way to manually save video). I don't have a SD card reader so I had to remove my card from my previous phone to save a file, then remove it to reinsert into the dashcam.Note: Because of the very wide camera viewing angle, things will be MUCH closer than they appear on the screen. It will take some time to get used to.
