So yeah I wasn't expecting much but I bought this for a small office as it would be a good test bed for that. First, the product is very strange. It has a dedicated port for each function. It's annoying to do the wrong test if you're not careful. The toner works. but the accuracy and strength make me doubt. I was able to test this on a couple of runs but it took me forever to find my tone. Typically, audio sensitivity is pretty high on cheaper models, but to get it you had to REALLY GROW close to the cable. It can detect 15 20ft cables with 1st or 2nd headroom, but anything shorter or longer will not be detected. AWESOME, the cable tester worked perfectly BUT only when connected to a switch. I was able to identify the defective cable, but only once it was connected to the switch. If it's not connected, it says the cable is fine. sus.Returned will probably spend another $50 for a more accurate/reliable tool.
