I used this to completely remove a welded radiator mount on a Subaru (circa 25 Sport) and it worked great. I was positively impressed, it cuts through the welds like butter and the bit feels rock solid and sharp, no wear. You should really start the hole with a small separate drill, with a sharp point for "walking". The ad didn't say how big the shank was, so I assumed it would be pretty standard, 1/4. But he is more. I want it to be 1/4 size so I can use it on a portable impact wrench. But overall I recommend it.
