This protector protects your watch. The only issues I've encountered is showering with the watch and trying to get to the notifications. When showering, water got between the screen protector and the display, and when it dried, there was water residue on it, making it foggy to look at. I removed the case and had to thoroughly clean both the case and the watch. I had a little trouble trying to check the notifications on the case. The dark border seems to block just enough that my finger can't reach the edge of the screen to get notifications. It really protects the watch and I will use the case when running, hiking, biking. or work from home.
