I needed something to light up my little porch window display for Halloween and this light up web is perfect for that. It has different lighting modes - it is constantly on, blinking and slowly fading. I like the fade effect. I have a realistic looking plush fake black cat next to a black cauldron by the porch door window and when the light gets brighter it looks like the cat is watching you from the window. This is my first night using the lighted mesh I have on the timer. The web light control switch seems to remember the lighting settings it was in before the power outage, so I don't have to toggle between settings the next night when it's turned back on. This is a great feature! Also, I wasn't sure how the spider was attached to the web. I thought he used velcro but no, he has flexible legs that can cling to the mesh anywhere. I believe this item was worth $20, the purchase price. I recommend it.
