Update 11/05/2020: Still a good iPad. The battery life slowly decreased. When working online, we get about 4-5 hours of live zoom, and the battery will be 30-40% after 4 hours. To be on the safe side, let's let it charge when it reaches 50% so it doesn't die during class. We don't usually load it during live classes because my 3rd grade daughter likes to sit in different places to get comfortable or just see a different scene since we're doing distance learning at home. Initial review 9/3/220: We needed an iPad for distance learning. I've had him for almost a week now. When I received the iPad it was not charged and took a day and a half to fully charge. I think the iPad is notorious for being slow to reach a full charge. Battery life is ok as it is used. Live video calling and some networking after about 4-5 hours the battery dropped to 70% so no big deal. Looks like new. It arrived with a screen protector and a thin backing. That was great as our new suitcase hasn't arrived yet. There were no defects, charging cable and power supply from another manufacturer were included. So far this hasn't caused me any problems. I want it to arrive charged because I was a little disheartened that it took over an hour for it to turn on and hit 1%. I will update this review as needed.
