**Update: They lost their footing in their rush. Not sure if exposure to car oils and such was a factor, but now they look like bars of soap on any *slightly* wet surface. I wear them every day but they retire when I can afford them. Today I almost fell down the stairs, that has never happened to me before. I assume this is because they don't have a real profile to displace water. So when the rubber dries out, traction becomes nil. First review: I needed new minimalist shoes. I walked in because I was wearing M11 wildlings (which were cute but not grippy or clinging to the rain and were also puffed up at the ankles). I also wear 11.5 wide On Cloud shoes, 11 wide Danner RAT boots, wore 11.5 wide Asics Kayanos, 11 wide Converse (comfortable with blue super legs after the shoes split at the ankles on both sides), Vans 11 roomy, same as vice versa, 11 roomy Altama low-top sneakers As far as socks go, I only wear socks sold by the box at Costco. I threw away the insoles (the shoes with the original insoles were too tight) and put the ones in my On shoes on. you are skinny I then replaced the laces with rubber bands from a local craft store. A small package fits both shoes. They hold up well due to the design of the booties. Now they are adjustable slip-ons. These shoes are comfortable for me but I can move my toes and the stitching doesn't hurt. They parted and made themselves comfortable.
