I bought this screen because the cleanliness of the panel is a constant point of tension between my husband and I. I cook and he cleans so he asked if I could find something to prevent oil/oil splatters from smearing the stove and countertops after each use so he doesn't have to clean as often. I remembered that my grandmother had such a screen, so I bought it. Unfortunately, after a single use, the metal frame warped on first use (due to the heat of the pan I assume) and one side hasn't shrunk. flush with the edge of the pallet. Unfortunately, this resulted in the grease continuing to splatter across the stove, making the purchase pointless. It seems high quality and sturdy. So if I have the opportunity to replace it and the replacement does the job, I'll happily rewrite my review as such.
