This is great if you are afraid of soldering.
Tape lights are super easy to solder, it seems amazingly easy. Once you open the metal tab, which is what you must do to use these connectors, the solder will flow over the tab with little effort. The solder joint will not come off and is likely to have fewer problems. If you plan on moving your lights around a lot, these connectors are probably easier than soldering.
