Loose and very comfortable especially for sensitive large feet
I'm a size 14 and most socks have an elastic band right down the middle of the foot which irritates the socks as they wear out. These socks are irritating because the soft elastic is closer to the ankle and angled, making the socks more comfortable and not pinching the foot.
