I just finished highlighting the main points of an entire chapter of a book I'm reading. Overall I am very happy with this product - taking notes is much easier. It was also very easy to share once I was done with the document (I uploaded it to my Dropbox straight from the app). I use it with my Samsung Galaxy 6 (Android) and it worked for 5 minutes after trying to set it up. Very easy to use. I tried setting it up on an older Android tablet but the app wasn't compatible (which is something to be aware of if you have an older Android!). Things to get used to: - I've found it scans best if you try to be smooth and scan faster instead of slower (as the tips suggest). But once you master this technique, it's really good at spotting the right letters. Sometimes I've noticed that the first or last word doesn't fit in the lines I'm looking at. Obviously I need to check for some spaces before the line and then move on a bit at the last word of the line. - It doesn't scan apostrophes very well (usually she just skips them) - When a line ends with a hyphen (to indicate the middle of a word) it usually just inserts a space between the first half of the word and the second half of the word (where you have to manually go back and remove that space). limit the font size to scan (then it just starts scanning in a weird way). Some of the chapter titles are difficult to scan, but you won't have a problem with plain text. Potential area for improvement (it would be great if the developer noticed this!): - They've updated the application so you can clear the string you just scanned with a click of a button and try again if you don't like the string. Right now, deleting the entire line is painful (either hold down backspace for 100 characters until it's deleted, or use your fingers to highlight the words you want to delete - either way it takes too long).
